Kasim Reed, former Atlanta city mayor who served two terms from 2010-2018, is being honored at the official The Women for Kasim Reed Kick-Off Campaign to support the mayor running for a third term. This event at Atlantucky was attended by the who's who in Atlanta. The mayor's friends, colleagues, and beautiful daughter gave daunting speeches about his values and contributions to Atlanta, and he should be the 61st mayor of Atlanta.
Kasim also spoke to the esteemed audience of women. During his speech, Kasim Reed states 60 percent of the senior jobs in my administration were ran by women. He emphasized that he hired 900 police officers and cut crime by the lowest level in 100 years while he was in office. He reiterated that once he is elected, in 180 days, you will see a difference in this city. And he canted that "we will send a message to the United States of America that the days of Atlanta being a covid playground are over."
