The Love Coach is a MUST SEE!
By Tessa Owens
The long-awaited premiere of The Love Coach was finally released in Atlanta’s theaters this week and it was full of the who's who in Atlanta, GA. This movie is about a relationship coach that is helping young, single professionals in Atlanta find love. This movie has a huge plot that will leave most viewers confused and intrigued about the final scene. Definitely a must-see movie, be ready to sit up in your seats with excitement!
The Love Coach follows Janel, a relationship coach in Atlanta, GA who is helping young professionals find love. The movie begins with Janel meeting with her first client, Arianna. Stephen and Arianna are successful young professionals who are struggling to find love. Throughout the course of the movie, we see Janel help Arianna meet Stephen (and other clients) as they navigate the dating world and find love.
One of the things that I loved about this movie is that it really showed the highs and lows of dating. We see Arianna go on some great dates and we also see him go on some not-so-great dates. I think that this portrayal of dating is realistic and relatable for many people.
Another thing that I loved about this movie is the cast. The cast is full of talented actors and actresses who did a great job of bringing their characters to life. I particularly enjoyed watching Chamise Renee, Mia, a confident pro black personal assistant perform her role with a particular love interest, during the plot twist in the movie. She did an incredible job of portraying a character that was both lovable, powerful, vulnerable, and frustrated all at the same time.
Overall, I would recommend seeing The Love Coach. It's a heartwarming movie with a great plot twist that will leave you wanting more. Be sure to bring some popcorn though because there are definitely some “jumping out of you seat” with emotional moments throughout this movie! Audiences are sure to be drawn in by the relatable characters and laugh-out-loud moments. But they will also appreciate the film's honest portrayal of the ups and downs of dating. If you're looking for a feel-good romantic comedy with a bit of drama thrown in, then be sure to check out The Love Coach!
