The Official Waffles Weekend was an amazing event combining great food and even better music in the heart of Atlanta. DJ Waffles created this weekend to bring together music, artists, media, and fans into one weekend. Most importantly, the weekend sported an arrangement of various DJs to set the stage for great performances and career-building opportunities.
The entire event included activities, panels, performances, and network mixers. FreshMix Magazine has helped to spur this event by using their platform to provide all the latest news for music and production by DJs to help make their mark in pop culture.
Thursday kicked off by unveiling new magazine covers and teaming up with the 404 Campaign to highlight and honor 8 different DJs through 8 magazine covers. Friday transitioned to a Q&A panel for artists and entrepreneurs to provide knowledge on up-and-coming artists while Saturday kept the momentum going with a DJ rally offering various press, publicist, and connections to DJs. During this time, you could sort through different media tables to mingle and network.
Sunday wrapped up the adventurous weekend by continuing networking opportunities and performances by headlining artists. This was the ultimate conclusion to a weekend celebrating DJs and the music culture.
