Recap of the Big3 Championship Game between Trilogy and Power

Next up was The On Sunday, August 21st, the Big3 basketball league took over State Farm Arena in Atlanta for the Big3 Championship game between Trilogy and Power. This was one of the biggest weekends in the league's history, as it was not only the championship game, but also included The Monster Energy BIG3 Celebrity Game and The Inaugural BIG3 All-Star Game. Some of the biggest names in sports, music, and media were in attendance, including Vernon Davis, Barstool Sports’ Wallo and Gillie, and NLE Choppa. Here is a recap of the day's events.

The first game of the day was The Monster Energy BIG3 Celebrity Game. This game featured some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Young Dro, Tim Tebow, Dr J, Nelly, AEW star Miro, former NFL star Vernon Davis, Wallo and Gille of Barstool Sports, former Harlem Globetrotter Crissa Jackson, Matt James of The Bachelor and recording artists Miky Woodz, Ozuna, Young Dro, and NLE Choppa. The game was a close one, with the score being tied at 24 at halftime. In the end, Team Tri-State was victorious with a final score of 39-38.

BIG3 All-Star Game. This game featured some of the best players from around the league, including Royce White, DeShawn Stevenson, Brian Scalabrine. The game was very well matched, with neither team holding more than a 5-point lead at any point during regulation time. In the end, Team Triplets came out on top with a final score of 58-56.

Finally, it was time for the main event: The Big3 Championship Game between Trilogy and Power. These two teams had been dominant all season long and were both looking to take home the Dr. J Trophy. early on it looked like Power might run away with the game, as they took a 12-4 lead in the first quarter. However, Trilogy battled back and took a narrow 26-25 lead into halftime.

In the second half, it was all Trilogy as they outscored Power 20-12 in the third quarter to take a 46-37 lead into the fourth quarter. Power tried to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter, but Trilogy held them off to win by a final score of 56-52. Jackson's team is now reigning champions!

It was a full day of basketball action at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Sunday, August 21st as part of the Big3 basketball league's Championship Weekend festivities. The day started with The Monster Energy BIG3 Celebrity Game which saw Team Tri-State come out on top with a final score of 39-38. This was followed by The Inaugural BIG3 All-Star Game which saw Team Triplets defeat Team 3 Headed Monsters by a final score of 58-56.

Finally, it was time for the main event: The Big3 Championship Game between Trilogy and Power which saw Trilogy come out on top by a final score of 56-52 to take home the Dr. J Trophy!
