Fans no longer need to wait for the much anticipated tenth studio album, “Donda.” Kanye has performed songs off the album through four different listening parties and is set to feature Jay-Z, the Weeknd, Travis Scott, and Baby Keem, amongst others, in his official launch.
While fans have had the chance to hear the album, people are skeptical over what songs are going to be kept and which ones will have changed. Kanye has swapped several verses in his live performance of the songs, bringing back vivid memories for listeners on his “Life of Pablo” album.
The release of “Donda” has been marked by hang-ups with verses and technicalities from DaBaby – which Kanye posted about online – and miscues on official release dates. The album is two hours long and was flagged by Kim Kardashian herself posting screenshots on social media of her listening to it. West’s appearance with her dressed in her wedding gown on stage has led to speculation if this also coincides with Kim and Kanye working on their own relationship.
The only thing for certain is that Kanye released this album in another fashionably late style and fans are left to determine how this newly re-created album compares to West’s prior releases.
