Aisha “Pinky” Cole, a 34-year-old Baltimore native, Clark Atlanta University (CAU) graduate, and member ofDelta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., created the empire starting out in a shared kitchen, stepped out on faith to open her own brick and mortar. business mogul has drawn the attention and appetites from celebrities all around the world.From Oscar-winning actress, Viola Davis booking “The Slutty Vegan” Food Truck while on set, Pinky also managed to draw the attention of her new beau, CEO,Philadelphia native, Derrick Hayes. In addition, the couple’s passion to see racial injustice against blacks obliterated is an invincible driving force. The murder of27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, in June 2020, who had fallen asleep in a Wendy’s parking lot, has resulted in the partnership of Clark Atlanta University providing$600,000 in scholarships, new cars and life insurance for children and the children of Mr. Brooks. The culmination of their love and like-minded business ideologies has blueprinted future endeavors. The two opened “Dinkies” (Pinky + Derrick) a vegan- Philly cheesesteak blend inside Pinky’s Bar Vegan this past Thanksgiving.The two will partner with Pepsi and Puma; as well as Black billionaire investor,Robert F. Smith, who paid off Morehouse’s 2019 graduates student loans. This summer you can also expect Cole’s first cookbook, “Eat Plants B*tch” (Simon&Schuster) to be available. The couple has definitely created a culture of viable success, residual wealth, and entrepreneurship; an equation that equates to Black love within the community.
