Bae's Best Eats: Toast on Lenox

The brunch vibes are in and this weekend I went to see what the hype was all about at Toast on Lenox. After seeing nothing but rave reviews about the food, I had to go in and try it out for myself. Was it worth the hype? Absolutely!

Located a short distance from Lenox Mall (hence the name Toast on Lenox), this quant restaurant has become a popular eatery for food lovers. It was highly suggested by other patrons to make a reservation, so I did just that. I was so glad that I did because the line was out the door! I figured that the food must be amazing if people were lined up to have a taste.

The restaurant is very upbeat and stylish. There is a bar that has first come, first serve seating. I wanted the true dining experience, so I opted to sit inside at a table. The restaurant is divided up into two separate sections, so for those who may want to have a private party to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, there is a separate dining section just for this. There is also outdoor seating available, where you can also take your best photo in front of their signature grass wall. So those days when the weather permits, its a whole vibe!

The drinks were pouring, and this was where I fell in love. I love the option of mocktails and Toast on Lenox has plenty of juice and beverage blends plus cocktails on the menu. I decided to start out with the strawberry lemonade. This was one of the drink options that mostly everyone talked about and I had to try it. The strawberry lemonade was so refreshing and a great way to get my taste buds ready for the food.

So many great options on the menu, I wanted literally a bite of everything. In great foodie fashion I ordered two entrees, yes two. I decided to start out with the cookies and cream French Toast. A bite into heaven is how I can describe it. Just imagine diving into a pile of buttery Oreo cookie crumbles and swimming in a sweet cream glaze. It was simply delicious! And more than enough to share if you are dining as a pair or group.

Next I tried out the Catfish and grits. I am a snob when it comes to fish and grits. No matter how many times I eat it, it never gets old. I love to try it everywhere I go. There was a little spin on this fish and grit, and I loved it, pimento cheese grits. The grits were to die for. The catfish was nice and crispy and I ended up with plenty to take home.

Now lets talk about the service. Our waitress was very attentive, and ensured that all of our dining needs were being addressed. There were plenty of patrons dining, but the wait staff made us feel like we were dining alone and I love that.

All in all, I give Toast on Lenox a 10/10 on service, quality, and food. This is a great place to enjoy a day date, girls brunch, or just to treat yourself. I highly suggest making a reservation on the weekends, because they are booked and busy!
