Atlanta raised rapper, 21 Savage, continued his yearly endeavor to help distribute school supplies to Atlanta locals near his house where he grew up. Setting up space in the Decatur neighborhood, 21 Savage’s charity event was sponsored by the likes of Amazon Music and Reebok to name a couple.
21 Savage has been giving back to the community he was raised in for six years now through his non-profit charity – Leading By Example Foundation. Through his foundation, 21 Savage created “21 Savage Bank Account” by teaming up with Get Schooled to provide kids with the knowledge of social awareness and financial literacy. He also encourages basic money saving strategies and college funds. He has granted thousands of dollars in scholarships and helped teens open bank accounts for future saving.
The Issa Back to School Drive runs for a few hours and offers kids in the county a chance to become eligible for laptops and other school supplies. The event also includes some fun and games – all while remaining COVID compliant – including free food, game trucks, basketball,
and a bounce house. One thing is for certain, 21 Savage is dedicated to giving back to the community and helping up and coming generations get a head start on success.
