A Celebration of Breakfast at Barney's 2nd Anniversary

It's hard to believe that it's been two years already since Atlanta-based friends Barney Lee Berry Jr and Dr. Rashad Sanford opened Breakfast at Barney's.  Just a year ago, Berry Jr. stated “Our goal is to immediately transform each and every guest that passes through the doors of Barneys, taking them into a world of Black art, Black food, Black music, and Black service delivered in our own unique way,”. “Whether our guests are visiting Atlanta, working in the area, or residents, we will offer the best breakfast/brunch experience in the city.”  

And one year later, the 2nd Anniversary was covered in the who's who of Atlanta and their dream of creating a place where people could enjoy food, talk about news and culture while sipping cocktails, and create lasting memories with friends has come to fruition. -Queen City Shrimp & Grits

Blackened shrimp sautéed with chicken sausage, fresh corn, cherry tomato, spinach, and seafood truffle butter sauce on top of creamy grits. Served with Toast.

- Shrimp & Grits:

A Barney's signature dish made with flavorful shrimp, creamy grits, diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and green peppers.

-Barney's French Toast

Sliced Brioche, strawberries, blueberries, caramelized banana, powdered sugar. Served with Banana cream and bourbon apple cider syrup

-Emperors Breakfast

Two eggs any way, choice of Turkey bacon, Chicken sausage, or Beyond Meat Veggie sausage, toast, housemade jam and your choice of creamy grits, breakfast potatoes, dressed greens or fruit. *substitute "Just Egg" vegan folded egg

-The Breakfast Sandwich

Toasted brioche bun with Turkey bacon, soft scrambled eggs, cheddar, Barney's sauce and dressed greens. Your choice of creamy grits, dressed greens, fruit or breakfast potatoes

I hope you had the opportunity to come out and celebrate with them on August 22nd. However, if you didn't attend the 2nd Anniversary Soiree, you definitely need to check out this amazing spot full of branded delectables, stellar ambiance, and warm friendly staff, where they will be serving up their usual special menu.
